ABLE Brief Intervention Training Online
We are delighted to announce that we will be running our 3- day ABLE Brief Intervention training online for frontline staff working in health, social care and community roles. The ABLE training model develops practitioners’ ability to build relationships and to manage boundaries.
The three-day interactive course takes place online via Zoom and is delivered by 2 licenced trainers. The upcoming training will take place on:
The four step, practical ABLE model underpinning the training, allows participants to Adopt a relationship-centered approach, Build rapport and manage boundaries of time, Listen actively and reflectively, Empower clients and end the intervention appropriately.
ABLE training is approved for CPD purposes by Social Care Ireland, Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT), the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, the Irish Association of Social Workers, the Irish College of General Practitioners, the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Department of Education.
