Dr Sandra Ferguson of Trauma Informed Scotland will be the 2022 keynote. Scotland is recognised as an international leader for Trauma Informed Practice, being the first country in Europe to have a nationwide strategy for delivering Trauma Informed Care training to its entire workforce. Sindy is also on the anti-racism committee for the National Action Plan Against Racism.

Panel Discussion with Dr Austin O’Carroll and Dr Sharon Lambert, hosted by The Two Norries

The Two Norries is a ground-breaking podcast, hosted by James Leonard and Timmy Long that focuses on trauma, mental health, addiction, prison, recovery, overcoming struggles and much more. The Two Norries explore their personal and often shocking upbringing including the challenges and realities of life and recovery in a new raw, genuine, and personal storytelling.

One of Ireland’s leading voices on trauma-informed practice, Dr Sharon Lambert spent the early part of her career working in community-based settings supporting highly marginalised groups. Dr Lambert joined the teaching staff in the UCC School of Applied Psychology in 2014. Sharon’s research interests revolve primarily around the impact of trauma on development, and research with community-based partners in addiction, homelessness, criminal justice and education sectors.
