Volunteer Leadership Training - 6, 13, 20 & 27 March

Whether you involve 1 or 1,000 volunteers, this training will help you attract and select suitable volunteers and provide a positive experience for all. This interactive training opportunity is packed with practical advice that you can use immediately as well as food for thought as you evaluate how you work with volunteers. Volunteer Leadership Training is suitable for attendees that work in non-profit groups, large or small that currently involve volunteers or are thinking about it. Attendees can be individuals who are paid or unpaid and have direct responsibility for managing volunteers.

Dates

The four modules will be delivered over four weeks on the following days:

• Wednesday 6 March
• Wednesday 13 March
• Wednesday, 20 March
• Wednesday 27 March

Times

9.00 to 1.00pm each day

Venue

Dublin City Volunteer Centre, Whitefriars, Aungier Street, Dublin 2. Please note that the training will be taking place on the second floor and there is no lift accessible.

Cost

€75 per person for the four modules

Diversity in Volunteering Training - 3 April

Diversity in volunteering is ‘actively encouraging people from all walks of life to volunteer & embracing different skills and talents’, as well as ‘opportunities to volunteer open to all, and all people treated equally while volunteering.’

This training offers Volunteer Managers an opportunity to look at the benefits of embracing diversity, reflect on the current state of their volunteer programme, consider their and other views on diversity and practical steps that can be taken to create a more diverse pool of volunteers.

Who is it for

This training is for anyone who is managing volunteers – paid or unpaid – and would like to explore more about the topic of diversity in volunteering.

Wednesday, 3 April, between 10.00 – 4.00pm
