Whistleblowing and Protected Disclosures - An Introduction, 23 Mar
On 23 March, Integrity at Work (IAW) will host a workshop on ‘Whistleblowing and Protected Disclosures - An Introduction’. This workshop is designed to help employers to review their current systems for dealing with disclosures.
In light of the new legal requirements introduced by the Protected Disclosures (Amendment) Act 2022, many employers are in the process of updating their Protected Disclosures policies. This workshop will give employers the tools they need to understand the new legislation and the principles of Whistleblowing and Protected Disclosures.
The workshop will address the following questions:
- What are the duties of employers under the amended Protected Disclosures legislation?
- How will employers be required to respond to and manage reports/disclosures?
- What support and resources are available to both workers and employers?
