World Day of Social Justice
We are marking World Day of Social Justice - 20th Feb together with OLA Sisters- Irish province.
This week we're not only going to discuss rights, responsibilities, justice, fairness, and actions but also read excerpts of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Articles every day. Today we bring articles one to eight. Did you know there are 30 articles & it was established in 1948 and that The Human Rights Council, established on 15 March 2006 by the General Assembly and reporting directly to it is made up of 47 State representatives and is tasked with strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe by addressing situations of human rights violations and making recommendations on them, including responding to human rights emergencies.
