The Board of the Glendalough and District Development Association are seeking a Centre Manager with the responsibility to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the management of the Brockagh Resource Centre

Objectives of this Role
· Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement
· Uphold standards of excellence and quality
· Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
· Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
· Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth for Community based social goals, some Social Sector experience will be an advantage
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;
- Maintain the Community Service Programme administrated by Pobal
· To develop new and existing business strands and to promote and market the available facilities and generate income
· To achieve set targets agreed with the Board of Management
· To manage and coordinate employees
· To support the training and development of employees
· To ensure all sectors of the community are facilitated by activities at the Centre
· To manage finances and present financial reports to the Board of the Glendalough and District Development Association
· To support activities of the centre relating to business development
· Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement
· Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring their completion, while accomplishing your own goals
· Delegate responsibilities to the best employees to perform them while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
Job Types: Full-time Permanent subject to a 6-month probationary period
This is a full-time position generally Monday to Friday 9am -5 pm with some weekend
availability as required by business demands. Such is the nature of this hands-on Role, it does not facilitate remote working
Salary part funded by Pobal and part by the GDDA Ltd Circa €35K-€42K per annum DOE
