Campaigns Executive

BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service, a registered non-profit charity, is looking for a dedicated individual to join our Fundraising team. 

Function: Fundraising 

Reporting to: Community and Campaigns Manager 

BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service, a registered non-profit charity, is looking for a dedicated individual to join our Fundraising team. We provide free, safe and comfortable transportation for Ireland’s youngest patients, ensuring their well-being during non-emergency transfers between their homes and medical facilities nationwide.

About the Role 

The Campaigns Executive will work as a part of the Community & Campaigns team, where they will support various elements of fundraising including campaigns, community, events, and direct marketing.  

The Campaigns Executive will be an organised, passionate individual who works well in a team environment and takes a flexible approach to work. They will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and an appetite to learn and develop their skills.

Reporting to the Community and Campaigns Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a small team in a dynamic environment and gain valuable cross-functional experience. The successful candidate will support our community fundraisers, attend events, and help develop our campaigns.  

Responsibilities: 

Campaigns/ Events 

  • Attending and supporting BUMBLEance events such as our annual hike as required 
  • Support the promotion of Campaigns, Community Fundraisers & Events 
  • Developing campaign calendar of events with Community and Campaigns Manager 
  • Creating campaign pages for our key events 
  • Recruiting for our campaigns 
  • Working with Partnerships and Communications team to develop campaign assets 
  • Event logistics 
  • Working with designers and printers to develop campaign materials 
  • Working with Partnerships team to secure sponsorship for campaigns 

Direct Marketing 

  • Working cross functionally to develop direct marketing campaigns throughout the year 
  • Developing social campaigns to support direct marketing campaigns 

Community 

  • Working with Fundraising Executive to ensure community fundraisers have everything they need to ensure their event is a success 
  • Ensuring community fundraiser data is up to date on our CRM – Champ. Working with office administrator to achieve this. 
  • Attend local, regional and national community fundraising activities and events 

Other 

  • Flexibility to travel and willingness to work occasional weekends/evenings 
  • To undertake such other duties as might be reasonably assigned from time to time including admin support 
  • Supporting fundraising efforts across the department 

Skills/ Experience 

  • 1 -3 years fundraising experience 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Experience/ knowledge of CRMs an advantage 
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills 
  • Excellent IT skills with knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office. 
  • Experience working with a team 
  • Experience working to deadlines 
  • Design experience an advantage 
  • Experience planning events and campaigns 
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising platforms  

Person Specification 

  • Knowledge and interest in the charity sector 
  • Fluent in English 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ambitious self-starter 
  • Full Driving Licence essential 
  • Team player

  • Ability to multi-task
