Your Vision, Our Future - Open Public Meeting, 2 Mar
The Commission on Taxation and Welfare will be hosting a series of virtual Open Public Meetings in March 2022 to discuss the future of Ireland’s taxation and welfare systems.
The Commission on Taxation and Welfare has been tasked by government to independently consider how best the taxation and welfare systems can support economic activity and promote increased employment and prosperity in Ireland.

Your Vision, Our Future - Open Public Meeting (2 Mar 2022 at 7pm-9pm)
Participants will include:
- Prof. Niamh Moloney: Chair of the Commission on Taxation and Welfare and Professor of Law at the Department of Law, London School of Economics and Political Science.
- Anne Gunnell: Director of Tax Policy & Representations at The Irish Tax Institute.
- Ita Mangan: Barrister and former Chair of the Citizens Information Board, Chair of the Board of Age and Opportunity, Member of the Board of the Irish Hospice Foundation. She was also formerly Chair of the Advisory Group on Tax and Social Welfare.
- Dr. Stephen Kinsella: Professor of Economics and Head of Department of Economics at the University of Limerick and Research Associate at the Rhodes Centre for International Finance at Brown University.
- Dr. Tom McDonnell: Co-director of the Nevin Economic Research Institute, an ICTU Nominee and a member of the Commission on Taxation and Welfare
