European Citizen's Prize 2022: Submit or Nominate a Project!
The European Citizen’s Prize recognises initiatives that contribute to European cooperation and the promotion of common values. If you know a project that deserves to win the award you are kindly invited to nominate it now before the deadline of 18 April 2022.
Awarded every year by the European Parliament, the prize goes to projects organised by people or organisations that encourage:
- Mutual understanding and closer integration between people in the EU
- Cross-border cooperation that builds a stronger European spirit
- EU values and fundamental rights.
How to apply
People, groups, associations or organisations can apply with a project for the European Citizen's Prize or can nominate a project. MEPs can also submit a nomination.
As this year is the European Year of Youth, special consideration will be given to projects carried out by our young Europeans or projects dealing with youth.

Projects can be submitted between 22 February 2022 and 18 April 2022 (it has to arrive before midnight Brussels time).
