Invitation to Participate in Charities Regulator Survey of the Charity Sector
Trustees, volunteers, and employees of Ireland's charity sector are invited to participate in the third survey of the sector. Commissioned by the Charities Regulator, it is being conducted by independent research experts, IPSOS B&A.
This survey is run every two years to gauge the position of the charity sector. Its findings provide the sector and the public, as well as the Charities Regulator, with crucial information on a range of issues including key challenges facing the sector. Building on the insights gathered in 2020 and 2022, its findings enable the Charities Regulator to track trends, measure progress, and identify areas where further guidance and support would be helpful.
Your views matter. Given the diversity of the sector, with over 11,500 registered charities, experiences and needs differ from one charity to the next, and even within charities themselves. The Charities Regulator is keen to hear and learn from as many trustees, volunteers and employees as possible, as well as those providing services to the sector.
The survey should take around 20 minutes to finish depending on your answers.
Please be assured that the survey is completely anonymous. Data will be analysed on an aggregate basis only to ensure confidentiality.
Your feedback will greatly contribute to ensuring that the Charities Regulator research captures the significant range and diversity that exists in the Irish charity sector of which you are an important part.
