International Women's Day 2025 - What are Your Plans?

Posted on 4 Mar 2025

It’s International Women’s Day this Saturday, 8 March, and many of our members will be marking the day with special events and celebrations. We wanted to take the opportunity again to highlight some of the fantastic events that our members have shared with us this year.

For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.

The theme of this year’s International Women's Day campaign is “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” In the 30th year of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, our world remains profoundly unequal. International Women’s Day is a chance not only to celebrate and reflect on the nature of women’s rights across the globe, but to loudly and clearly demand a world that is truly equal and one that provides rights, equality, and empowerment for everyone.

We want to share the incredible work being done by women in the sector and highlight events happening around the country. Please also remember to tag The Wheel and The Leadership Academy on LinkedIn so that we can share your events.
