Climb with Charlie, 2 Apr
Join Charlie Bird on 2 April as he raises funds for two charities which are close to his heart – IMNDA and Pieta, Ireland’s national suicide prevention charity.
Charlie Bird has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease, which was devastating but he has been overwhelmed by the support received from the general public which has been a source of strength for him. Charlie wants to use that outpouring of support to help other people, specifically those who are also suffering with motor neurone disease and those who are suffering from thoughts of suicide and self-harm.
He will be climbing Croagh Patrick with the support of family and friends. You can organise your own ‘Climb with Charlie’ and take part too in a location of your choice on April 2nd.
