DCU MSc in Health and Social Inclusion - Next intake September 2024 Applications Open Now
The School of Nursing Psychotherapy and Community Health in DCU is currently accepting applications for our MSc in Health and Social Inclusion.
The MSc in Health and Social Inclusion, delivered by the School of Nursing, Psychotherapy and Community Health, DCU, responds to two of the most urgent issues facing us today: social exclusion and health inequity.
Approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, this unique, interdisciplinary programme is based on a recognition of Ireland’s growing health inequities and the imperative of developing skilled practitioners, researchers, and academics in this area.
On completion, graduates will be proficient in:

identifying and analysing the major underlying causes of health inequities and social exclusion

designing, implementing and evaluating interventions to promote health equity and social inclusion

demonstrating advanced skills in health and social inclusion leadership, research and practice development.
The programme offers students a choice of undertaking a research dissertation or a practice development project, allowing students to tailor the programme for their chosen career path in a wide range of sectors.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the programme is full or until:
- Closing date for non-EU applicants is 1 July 2024.
- Closing date for EU applicants is 31 July 2024.
