Dublin City Learning Festival, 4-6 Apr
DCU is proud to announce the participation of DCU's Age-Friendly University in the Dublin Learning City Festival. Dublin City University is a member of the working group of Dublin City Learning, a member of UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities. This is a collaboration between the Dublin City Council and educational and community stakeholders to promote learning and widen participation.
From the 4 - 6 April, we will be hosting a multitude of free events on all DCU campuses, where a warm welcome awaits you at Dublin City University over the three days of the festival. Whether you are interested in Jazz, Art, Writing, learning about opportunities to engage in DCU with the Age-Friendly Programme or indeed explore options to undertake advanced programmes, there is something for everyone.
- Come and visit the DCU community flat to hear more about our Nex project and how sensor technology will support independent living in the future.
- Get into the groove with our students and staff from the School of Music who will perform live Jazz in the Hive.
- Visit the Botanical Art Exhibition by AFU participants who are proudly showcasing their work over the past two years .
- Hear about the publishing journey and how to write and publish your own book.
