Explore the powerful intersection of history, conflict, and migration in ‘The Weight of History’. This evocative event brings together stories from the past, such as the Battle of the Boyne and the Irish Famine, to reflect on the ongoing struggles of today. The evening features a reading from Bassam, a moving Palestinian story performed by Fadl Mustapha, as well as insights from experts like Katie Martin (Afri), Stephanie Kirwan (Meath Partnership), and Fadl Mustapha. With a Q&A session to foster dialogue and audience participation, this event challenges us to reflect on how history shapes our understanding of displacement.
