Climate Action March
The young people behind the Fridays for Future movement are calling on wider society to join them on the streets on Friday, 20 September to support their campaign for climate action. They want the adult world to wake up and join their push for an end to the fossil fuel era and start taking the climate crisis seriously.
Gatherings are being organised around the country. The march in Dublin will gather at the Custom House at 12pm and march to Merrion Square for a rally from 1 – 2pm.
European Day of Sustainable Communities
The Wheel will be hosting a celebration event, (20 September) in partnership with St Patrick's Cathedral, to celebrate European Day for Sustainable Communities. After this event we’ll encourage all attendees to follow us down to join the march.
