Grand Challenges: A Workshop for Social Entrepreneurs, 8 Oct
GRAND CHALLENGES: A WORKSHOP FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS
Date: 8 Oct 2024
Time: 17:30 - 20:30
Venue: Portal, 1st Floor, Trinity Business School
Social entrepreneurs have the mammoth task of running a successful business AND changing the world. We've learned from research and practice that to address Grand Challenges, we have to not only survive turbulence, but shape a better process. In this workshop for social entrepreneurs, we will explore the following questions:
What does the reality of delivering a pro-social business model look like?
How do we know if the daily hurdles and achievements are leading us towards system change?
Are we working towards a shared vision or should we have a shared vision at all?
This event is an opportunity to chat with and listen to interesting voices from the field, to workshop with your peers and contribute your curious thoughts and ideas to the ever evolving eco-system of social impact.
Our hope is that this event gives you renewed focus and inspiration in your work, providing a strong and vivid image of how your work fits into a bigger 'impact' picture.
Plus, an introduction to the Three Lenses Impact Framework as featured in Sheila and Concepción's new book: The Promise, Pitfalls, and Potential of Social Entrepreneurship. Order your copy here.
This is a joint event, organised by Trinity Business School, The Centre for Social Innovation and Portal: combining research and engagement to deliver real-world Impact.
