Women in the Digital World - Safety and Empowerment
To mark Gender Equality Week 9-15 December, the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland is very pleased to invite you to an event discussing the safety and empowerment of women in the digital world at the new Europe House. Our speakers have a wide range of experience and expertise, and the discussion will encompass issues such as gender aspects of the EU's Digital Strategy, online security for women and girls - real-life experiences and practical lessons, how digital tech can empower women and girls, and what the evidence tells us about preventing cyber bullying amongst women and girls. Journalist Sarah Carey will moderate, and there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.
