Planned Events for National Allotments & Community Gardens Week, 12-19 Oct
A huge thank you to all community groups who are offering to host public events during next week’s National Allotments & Community Garden Week (12 – 19 October 2024)!
The 2024 theme is “Healthy Soil” and we hope as many allotments, community gardens, school gardens, tidy towns and local growers in Ireland can get involved.
To register a event for National Allotments and Community Gardens Week 2024, send details of your event to info@cgireland.org, including the address of your event (or online link if virtual), and the time of the event. We will then publicise the event on our website.
Some examples of activities during the week would be organising a your or an event at your local community growing space, holding discussions online or in person, starting a local network of community growers, or post photos and videos online about the importance of Healthy Soil!
