The state we are in, Inequality in Ireland 2023: TASC Report Launch, 20 June
The last three years have seen repeated crises and hardship for large swathes of Irish society. Just as Ireland was recovering from COVID-19, a cost-of-living crisis erupted, and continues today.
While everyone has been affected, not everyone has been equally affected.
But who, if anyone, is to blame?
Has recent inflation been driven by wages or profits?
Has inequality increased over the last couple of years, and why?
TASC is pleased to announce the launch of The State we are in, Inequality in Ireland 2023. This year's report will tackle issues relating to cost of living, the distributional impact of inflation, profits vs wage-led inflation, and more.
The launch will take place in Buswells Hotel on Tuesday, 20 June at 11am.
Confirmed speakers to date:
- Robert Sweeney (Head of Policy at TASC)
- Kevin Callinan (General Secretary of FORSA and President of ICTU).
